A: Setting up an account can vary by services you choose to offer. Typically, cash pay in-office dispensing averages around 2-3 weeks. Ask your Sales Prepresentative for a timeline once you decide which services you would like to offer your patients!

Q: What are the benefits for my practice to dispensing medications?

Q. Will insurance companies reimburse for medications dispensed from my office?

A: Yes! If you choose not to dispense medications as cash-pay only, ASM’s credentialing team can ensure you are set up on the appropriate chain codes to ensure filing insurance claims.

Q: Are there any additional costs or overhead associated with dispensing medications from my office?

A: For point-of-care dispensing, we charge no additional fees! If you choose to contract with insurance companies for processing claims or require additional software support, there may be additional passthrough fees.

Q: What are the ancillary benefits of adding point-of-care dispensing to my clinic offerings?

A: On top of creating increased access to the patients you serve, point-of-care dispensing allows the practice to generate ancillary revenue!

Q: How do I manage inventory for medications dispensed from my office?

A: Inventory Management is a service that is included in our dispensing software. Your dedicated Account Manager will help you set up PAR levels based on your clinics needs where auto refills can be setup and managed.
